Aasawari has over a decade of experience in finance and accounting. Prior to her current role, Aasawari worked at Ernst & Young - India, in indirect taxation, covering clients such as Vodafone, Honeywell, and Symantec Software Solutions with their compliance needs. She began her career as an auditor at Kalyaniwalla & Mistry LLP Chartered Accountants, supporting audits and due diligence for clients such as Air India, Godrej & Boyce, and Go Air.

Aasawari holds a Master's in Business Administration from IIBM Institute of Business Management and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Mumbai, India. She also holds a certification from the Bombay Stock Exchange in Technical Analysis.
